I love love love hiking, kayaking, star-gazing, etc.; anything that allows me to spend time in God's amazing creation! This is why I'm OBSESSED with this series!! Getting to hang out and make memories with the coolest couples, this is my job??! Ugh, I loveee it!

Cascade Falls

the adventure series:)

I went to Fayetteville, WV to stay with some friends and spend some time with my girl Miranda before she gets married. Well when some other plans fell through, we decided that we wanted to take a little day trip! After some searching, Miranda found Cascade Falls so we called up a few friends and took off on our adventure! The drive was about an hour and a half and we were PARTYING and jamming out to throwbacks the whole time. It was a blast!!

The hike to Cascade Falls is a 4 to 5 mile hike round trip and it's just out and back. We walked out on the bottom path and it was pretty moderate. It was fairly easy besides the small section of rocks and incline but definitely worth the hustle for the beautiful view at the end!!! We (accidentally) took the top path on our way back but it was so much more comfortable to walk on! It was wider and more smooth. We all agree that the bottom path felt more adventurous and was fun but the top path was more convenient. When we got out to the Falls, I told the girls that I was going to ask a couple if they'd be interested in spending a few minutes with and have a mini photoshoot and that's exactly what I did! Meet Allie and Brendan!!

I had such a great time with these two!! They were great sports too and walked all the way out to the waterfall just to get THE photo haha!!

They had never had photos taken before besides a few at graduation but they are literally models!!! Their chemistry and light-hearted personalities were a perfect fit for Cascade Falls. Funny side note is that there were a small group of men who had taken their shirts off to swim in the water DIRECTLY BEHIND where we were taking photos so I had to edit them our of almost every photo but I actually forgot to in one of them... oops. I'll attach the photo at the bottom we'll see if you can spot them but it was so funny and such a unique moment. We actually looked over at one point and they had brought a whole watermelon along with them to eat right in front of the waterfall which is honestly a whole vibe. I was a little bit jealous at that point but it was a great day!

We ended our day by going to Texas Roadhouse and screaming songs all the way home. I LOVE my friends and seeing the world!!! oh yeah, and Cascade Falls;)
